Dear Erica, Am I the first to post to your blog?? Cool. First of all I want to say that I am proud of you and your determination to be your own person through this and second, I'm very exited to see that people are coming together to help. What a great idea the blog was! It is so great for others who are concerned about you (and there are lots of them) to be able to see not only what's going on , but also see about specific ways they can help you that are actually helps that you want to have (as opposed to help that we think you should have) People generally, I've found, what to help but don't have a clue what's needed. Be bold and let us know. I just came back from the dentist and your friend Jessica wanted to know how you were, so I'm giving her the website info. Now we're really going to get the ball rolling. We love you and are praying for peace and discernment regularly for you and of course for your healing. I am really exited about your blog site and will pass it to as many people as I can think of. With love and hugs, Janine
PS, I haven't called or interfered lately because for one thing your mom and I have had difficulty communicating and I have not really known much about the recent issues. Also, I sensed that you thought I figured I knew everything about breast cancer and was just going to hassle you about things you had or hadn't done. I'm really really sorry, it came across that way. Neither one of these things is true. I am always learning new things about cancer and esp breast cancer. It's the nature of the disease, that one is always faced with new facts. We now that you have plenty of support to make good decisions, even when faced with more new facts. Love, Janine
Did this comment get saved on the blog site. I can't tell.

I hope your surgery was successful! I think its great that you are keeping good spirits, and that you know all of us are thinking of you! I know I haven't talked to or seen you in a while but you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I thought it was great to hear, despite everything, you are still finding a way to keep horses in your life! Thank you for keeping us updated!
